Using Issue Position Papers for Effective Presentation
Using Issue Position Papers for Effective PresentationIssue position papers are primarily based on issues of the issue and have the general message to be conveyed. The paper generally discusses the points of view of the particular organization, the particular department or the individual worker. It may include the message, its force, and the effectiveness of the paper in the whole organization. This way, it is much easier to find a connection between the position and the organization.Depending on the availability of the available stock of the issue paper topics, various formats can be used. Paper topics of different colors are also available. Paper topics are printed at different speed and sizes. Paper topics can be folded or single sided with these sizes and speeds depending on the demand of the paper topic. The problem that arises in using paper topics for presentation is that they are very difficult to read and organize. They require many formats and strategies to make them easily readable. Their easy readability comes from their use of symbols and diagrams to denote the information. They can be segregated into four basic types of paper topics. The first and the most common type of paper topics are the kind that appear in the middle of the paper. These papers can be divided into two kinds, which are the outline papers and the body papers. In the outline papers, the entire point is presented in the opening section and then a summary of the entire text in the middle section is presented. In the body papers, the entire point is presented in one paragraph and then a summary is presented. The second type of paper topics is the bullet pointed point style paper topics. These papers are separated into three parts, which are the body, the introduction and the conclusion. It appears in three sections as a series of topics with a bullet in between each section. The third type of paper topics are the customized paper topics. Customized paper topics are used for organization purposes or for special need based projects.Standard issue position paper topics are often presented at the beginning of the course work or the semester. Since the class topics are more or less fixed, it is necessary to adhere to the same theme in the class paper topics. The presentation of the paper topics requires more care. A class discussion is required to discuss the points of views and select the topics that address the viewpoint of the professor. There should also be sufficient time for the class discussion.
